16 year-old Emily Williams has not had a very good childhood it was filled with sadness and if things were not always complicated they would be the same. She had lived in Michigan and was brought up her mother and apart from her one close friend, and new step father, they were the only people Emily ever talked with. Everything is finally starting to seem as normal as things can get in Emily's life, until one day her mother announces that she will be moving in with her mothers wealthy best friend from college and her 4 very good looking boys, in California. When Emily first hears this news she does not want to go, but when she gets there she makes true friends with the parker boys, falls in love, gets her heart broken and experience things that she did not even think could happen to her. However, there is no sunshine without rain, but will Emily be able to cope with all the rain before the sunshine comes, if it does come at all?
