Based upon the songs of Of Monsters and Men, and set in the same world as my other story, Of Men and Monsters, this collection of short tales documents the journeys of several characters on their adventures in the Land of Thule. 

- The Lakehouse:
An inquisitive young boy ventures out on a boat into the lake and discovers an unusual house adrift in the fog.

- From Finner:
A doomed sea vessel is cursed by a great Leviathan, leaving the men stranded out in the furious seas.

Prisoners on a ship about to be eaten by sirens who have to somehow escape for all the crew are dead. Another short tale about if fantasy was replaced by machinery? Here's a bunch of short stories I wrote out of boredom, so most of the stories are up to interpretation, it was mostly me just pondering questions in my head and writing them into stories, hope you enjoy if you read!

The Sole Prince by cheddarandcheese

[ Only the ocean can bring a prince and a pirate together, only the sea can keep their secrets, and only the waves can tear them apart. ] [ COMPLETED - 80K Words] [ LGBT Historical Romance ] [ FEATURED ] James Serrio is supposed to be a prince, not a prisoner rotting away in the bottom of a pirate ship. His future was royalty, not death in a grimy hunk of wood, but it seems that fate had a different plan. Just when things couldn't seem to get worse, another ship attacks, and James is starting his prisoner journey all over again. But these new pirates are different, to say the least, especially Sage Morrow, the captain, with his black coat, gold buttons, sharp jawline, and steel-blue eyes. There's something about the captain that reminds James of a fire on a cold day. And, there's something about the new prisoner that reminds Sage of home. But there are more important things for James to focus on than a man, like the fact he's somewhere on the vast ocean, in a ship full of hungry pirates, with nothing more than a necklace and a quick brain to call his own. The Sole Prince is the story of James Serrio and Sage Morrow, and their consequential fate after running into each other smack dab in the middle of nowhere. With the Deorun War behind them, Finn and Tannix are looking forward to some time to finally relax. Until Tannix's brother Tandrin points out that other noble families are going to start pressuring Tannix to pick one of their daughters to lead West Draulin as his wife. Luckily, Tandrin has a solution-they can't pressure him if Tannix isn't around. And so, Tandrin decides to make Tannix an ambassador and sends him to visit the kingdoms along the Northern Coast. With the knights in tow, as well as some allies from Deorun and Navire, Tannix and Finn head out. Along the way, they learn about different cultures and see new sights, while improving relations between Zianna and the Northern countries. They meet plenty of new people, as well as some old friends. And maybe, some old enemies.

He almost dares to hope that a spectacular one-night-stand could turn into something more, until he reports to his new command position and discovers Lio is on his crew. It's hands off the recruit, or risk losing command in more ways than one. Pining heroes, dysfunctional found families, possible spaceships and plenty of inappropriate jokes, coming right up!
