"No.. No.. please don't! please let me explain..plea" His cries came to an abrupt stop when the butcher's blade effortlessly sliced through his head. A high pitched scream was all that followed as his lifeless body fell limp to the ground. The butcher grunts towards the direction of a dark shadow letting it know that the work was indeed ,done. The dark silhouette took a step forward into the gloomy spotlight which was formed by the cracks on the walls of the old rippling dungeon. Thick luscious curls of blood red hair cascaded down the back of her shoulder. A tight black corset with intricate patterns of flowers showcasing hours of craftsmanship hugged her curvy waist. A form fitted blouse with a plunging deep V neck tied together with thin night black silk ropes that made the butcher 's Adam's Apple to quiver ,adorned her upper body. Long tail of raw silk and velvet trailed behind her as her heels clicked on the floorboard in a rythumic manner. Her deep red lips were almost the same color as her vivid hair. The color that adores the night sky when the ember fire dies were the color of her iris. she lifted her right arm and motioned the butcher to leave lazily as she slowly made her way to the bawling woman who hugged the lifeless body laying ice cold on the floor. As she reached closer ,the woman stopped her cries and took in deep shaky breaths. The lady in black crouched down to where the now shaking woman was seated . she tilted her head making her to look into her intimidating eyes. " He betrayed me, love. I will find you a better match si?" Her voice smooth as a summer day. The trembling woman nodded her head in submission as the lady in black turned on her heel before smirking at her direction. "Carowilla Gibbit Pictoris The First" She was ruthless. The only woman to ever have her own kingdom. she was a strong ruler. Merciless . Extremely skilled. wanted my many but touched by none. Is she evil or is she good?

Armine

Armine stood before the tall, tarnished mirror, her reflection cold and mocking. The ornate frame, once gold, had dulled over time, its roses twisted like thorns. The room around her, grand with silken curtains and gold-trimmed furniture, felt suffocating. The air was thick, heavy with regret. She stared into the glass, not seeing a princess, but a shadow of herself-broken and lost. "Will there ever be a day," she whispered, her voice trembling, "when I stop hearing you laugh at me? When I stop hearing that I was never meant for the crown?" The reflection seemed to smirk, its cruel laughter echoing in the silence. "You were never meant to wear the crown. Thorns are meant for you, to choke you. You will never be his." The words hit like daggers. She wanted to look away, but the mirror held her in its grip. She felt suffocated by her own thoughts, by the weight of the crown she never wore, the love she never had. "Madam..." Alicia's voice broke through the silence. "You are so much more than this. Your worth is not in a crown or his love." Armine shook her head, her hollow smile barely visible. "He will come back, Alicia. But not to save me. He will come back to remind me of the game I've lost. I am nothing but a fool in this cruel story." She turned away from the mirror, but the laughter followed her, filling her ears. "Life isn't beautiful for everyone," she whispered. "It's for those whose fates are touched by angels. Mine... was touched by the dead." Alicia reached out, but Armine stepped back. The mirror's cruel truth echoed in her mind-she was never meant to be the princess, never meant to be his.
