Sa malayong bayan ng Merdine mapayapang namumuhay ang mga mamamayan roon.
Walang krimen.
Walang kasaman.
Ngunit ang matiwasay at mapayapang pamumuhay na ito ay nagbago ng lumaganap ang krimen na kung tawagin ay SHHH Maliban sa literal na kahulugan nito na tahimik. Isadin itong organisasyon ng mga hindi kilalang tao na responsable sa pagkamatay ng libo-libong sibilyan.
Lahat ay natakot at nagimbal. Maraming nagtangkang tumakas sa bangungungot na nararansan. Ginawa nila ang lahat ngunit sa kasamaang palad lahat ng nagtangka ay namatay.
Walang nagawa ang mga tao kundi ang magtago sa takot at umiyak ng umiyak. Ang mga pulis ay wala din naging silbi dahil sila din ay nanginig sa takot.
Ngunit ibahin niyo si Viance Bellerose . Ang babaeng puno ng tapang at deteminasyon. Ang nag-iisang tao na naglakas ng loob pugsain ang krimeng ito.
