Eric Hans era um médico em ascensão que viu sua vida virar de cabeça para baixo depois de duas falhas que resultaram na morte de um paciente e deixou outro paraplégico. Afundado na bebida e em dívidas de jogos, recorreu a Carlos Fierro, um perigoso agiota da região, para conseguir dinheiro e pagar seus credores, mas acabou se complicando mais ainda.
Faltando menos de uma semana para o fim do prazo de pagamento do empréstimo de Fierro, Eric resolve fazer um assalto na cidade vizinha quando seu plano é descoberto pelos seus amigos, que acabam cedendo e resolvendo ajudá-lo. Eles agora vão ter que encarar grandes problemas e tentar sair ilesos de todos.

"Mur'ring!" I yelled. "Wake up! Ra'dok got bit by a coyote." Mur'ring sprung to his feet. "Let me see." He inspected the wound with a bad look on his face. "We have to disinfect it." "Yeah okay, whatever just help him he's bleeding out." Mur'ring let go of Ra'dok's leg and turned to me, "you don't have to be an asshole, you asked me," he said. "Help him!" I yelled. Mur'ring walked to the back of the cell and moved a cement block from the wall. He pulled out a bottle of clear liquid. "I was saving this for a special occasion, but given the situation I guess-" "Will you shut the fuck up and help him?!" Mur'ring poured the liquid on the wound. Ra'dok yelled. A guard smacked the door. "Shut the hell up in there!" Mur'ring wrapped some cloth around the wound and Ra'dok stopped bleeding. He let Ra'dok take a few sips of the liquid, which made him gag but sedated him. After a while we all fell asleep. I know it looks like this story is about Japan but it's not. The Lands of the Rising Sun are referring to the East Coast of the United States of America. Set in a post apocalyptic world. Ma'tuk, Ra'dok and Mur'ring are three slaves that share a cell and work in the mining fields. They discover a secret and set in motion a series of events to jailbreak the slaves. The story is told in two parts. The second part follows a team of bounty hunters that find a valuable man and must nurse him back to health. In order to see a doctor they must embark on a mission to gain access to the doctor. This wonderful adventure is very graphic and explores aspects of the mind in terms of spirituality, the human condition and the fate of man.Completa

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain.
