When two young twin girls meet a high elf in the forest, and his dragon egg hatches for them. The dragon egg turns out to contain twins, which destines them and their bonds to be the subject of an ancient prophecy. The two girls go to the mysterious forest elves of the far north, and encounter along the way a world full of magic and mystery, with suppressed anger just beneath it's surface. When they finally reach the forest, they not only find what information they came looking for, but a terrible secret that could destroy everything they know and love.
