Leigh and Annalise (Annie) James have the perfect life and when they find out that Leigh is pregnant they rejoice. Three days later, though Annie is called out for her last deployment. And if that's not enough, three days later Leigh is diagnosed with a disease that will likely kill her if she gives birth to their child.
This story follows Annie and her daughter as they learn to live without Leigh. Leigh left them something of her, though. A journal, filled with every life lesson she had wished she didn't have to learn. Pieces of Leigh that made it so neither Annie or their daughter could forget her. Join what's left of the James family as they figure out how to go about life without someone important.
*FYI this story starts at the birth of Leigh and Annie's daughter and progresses through time until she is having a kid of her own.
