In a world divided into four groups, there is a role for everyone. Every group has their own realm found in each corner of the country they share. The top right corner has the largest population. There lives the people of the Mystery Realm (M.R.) They're the police force, detectives and prosecutors. They're the only realm which carries weapons of any kind. However, they don't kill. While they do value law and order, they don't like violence and tend to avoid it. The bottom left corner has the second largest population. The people there are born with unique powers. They're called the Supernatural Realm (S.R.) They tend to be optimistic and stubborn. They value relationships and would do anything to keep the people they love safe. The top left and bottom right corners are tied in regards to population, however, that is the only thing they share in common. These two realms couldn't be more different. In the top left corner is the society of the Technologically Enhanced Realm (T.E.R.) The people here develop technology the other realms could only dream of. They don't socialize with others and tend to keep to themselves. They understand complex equations and theories, however, they have a hard time understanding human emotion. Finally, in the bottom right corner lives the peaceful and happy people of the Primitive Harmony Realm (P.H.R.) The people here lead a simple life and believe in nature and its gifts. Because of that, they were blessed with healing abilities and elemental gifts. Additionally, the herbs they grow are just as magical as the people themselves. Their carefree and charismatic tendencies cause them to always believe the best in people, even when they shouldn't. For years everyone stuck to their roles and never tried to become anything else-until one day, everything changed...

"In a world where Grimm, Danger Beasts, Monsters, and notorious villains run rampant, there are those who stand against them. Benders, Huntsmen, Heroes, people who have the power to fight them, for the sole purpose of defending the innocent. At least some of them. Other guys just want to prove how powerful they are, and push around people without powers. I learned that the hard way. My name is Y/n Tennyson. I'm 20 years old, and I am in possession of the most powerful alien weapons, in the universe. When I was little, people like Bakugo and Issei picked on me everyday, just because I was too powerless to do anything. So one day, I decided to drop out of Union Academy and went on a cross country road trip with my grandpa and cousin. Then on our first stop, I went out on a walk where a meteor fell out of the sky and crashed right in front of me. But, as it turns out, it wasn't a meteor, but a pod containing a watch that, once stuck upon your wrist, could turn you into any alien you want. Needless to say that my life went uphill from there. I traveled across the galaxy, saved it from blowing up. Fought a giant alien, AS a giant alien. Stopped a race from destroying the universe. Blew up my watch. Got a new one. Dated a tennis player, and broke up with her. Fought a giant alien, as a giant alien AGAIN, this time in Tokyo. Killed an interdimensional demon along with my archnemesis. And made friends with a Slimebiote named Skurd. Now me and my friends are unlicensed heroes who defend the world from destruction. Mainly because it's the right thing to do, but partially to show Union Academy what kind of hero I am now. And I can't wait to see the look on their faces." Through the darkness, the computer screen illuminated the pale skin of Adelae's face around the black mask. Scrolling through the submitted questions, she came across one that made her smile. "Dear Lady Shade," She read aloud to herself. "Why did you choose to be a villain instead of a hero?" She chuckled, shaking her head at the simple, loaded question, before selecting it and opening the page to write a reply. "Hello Blogger KittyStan41. I bet you're expecting the classic tragic backstory in response to this question." she typed. " Dead parents, treated like trash as a kid, and it all came to a choice between rising to defeat my inner demons or succumbing to them. Well, my real answer is possibly something you haven't considered about the world of Heroes and Villains. Answer this for me, what is the goal of a hero? To make the world a better place, perhaps? No, dear KittyStan41. The classic goals of the Hero might seem epic and noble, but in the end it all comes down to stopping the Villain. What kind of life is that, when your only goals derive from the actions of someone else? Your whole life is used up as a preventative measure. Now does that sound like a good way to live? "I chose to be a villain not because I enjoy hurting people, but because I have goals that I plan to achieve. Don't bother asking what they are. If I told you, everyone would know, and people (baby heroes) would get in the way. Then how would I achieve them? I aspire to more. Is there need for a better reason?"

The world is a dangerous place. Men and women with power that leaves the world and all the insignificant lives upon it at their mercy. Many choose to exercise that power for selfish means, but a small group, a fraction of them; chose to use their power to defend the weak. They are the heroes of this world, the ones who risk their lives and sacrifice everything they are just to protect those that cannot protect themselves from the villains who would take everything from them. Yet even these heroes, are flawed. They are not perfect despite their image of such. They are not all-powerful despite their actions speaking to the contrary. They make mistakes, allow emotion to cloud their judgement, and allow pride to stay their hand. Villains are not born, they are made and often, they are made by the very heroes who fight to defend this world. These villains, in turn, make the heroes who fight them. A constant cycle that seems to have no end in sight, but ultimately, there is always something that changes. The world is never predictable, never simple, and always changes. Outliers and anomalies have come about many a time in the course of this cycle, but from this cycle, one rises that was different to the rest. He breaks the cycle and wades through the world of heroes and villains, forged by his actions and the actions of those around him. His goals are simple, and the steps he takes to reach them are long and arduous. Each one is a struggle, but one that brings him ever closer to the end. However, often, the road to hell is paved with good intentions and as his journey progresses, the world suffers the consequences.
