Scar being king at the beginning wasn't so bad, but he became greedier, lazier and the hyenas became more demanding for food, as the majority of the animals now living in pride rock were the hyenas. The hyenas would not hunt so it was up to the lionesses to hunt for them, including Sarabi, Sarafina, and even little Nala had to chip in sometimes.
