Chains of Butterflies

Even before I saw my entire gypsy coven murdered and my home destroyed, my life has been hell. Born with only one normal eye, I have had to struggle to stay in the real world, not be pulled along the current of constant dreams into another dimension which my other eye has had me manacled to. Manacled by chains of what seems like butterflies that can never be caught. Always fluttering on the edge of my awareness, intriguing... inviting... alluring and whispering for me to dance with them along the current of dreams: a current by which I know there would be no return...

I have had to fend for myself get to where I am now: Alive. The run-down orphanage where I was taken in and became my beloved home, on the outskirts of the country town, must now move and reside in the dreaded Institute. A foreboding castle that collects the tax for the surrounding area every ten years. Not in money, in children. The children vanish and are never seen again and now that me and my mismatched family are in the very aforementioned pit of hell, you could say that we're in for a tough ride as we all cling to each other trying to survive and I, Gwen try to unlock, the secret of the Institute a.k.a the aforementioned, dreaded and deepest pit of hell...
