Hayden O'Callaghan and his friends, Andrew Deeks and Dylan Wonder, have been arrested for anti-social behaviour. They were told they had to do 3 months community service and attended compulsory teen counselling sessions at their local youth centre, as the Judge knows of each of the boys' troubled home lives. At the centre Hayden meets Abi, a girl who completely goes against his expectations of what a volunteer at the youth centre would be like. At first the pair hate each other and are constantly at each others' throats, but once they acknowledge the undeniable attraction they have for each other, the sparks start to fly. Abi wants to help Hayden reach his goals and be the best he can be, but Hayden isn't letting her in easily. How are you supposed to help a boy who doesn't want to let anyone one in, and fears failure so much that he won't even try and be successful? Will Hayden's fear of failing prevent him from flying and make him think he's not good enough? Or will Abi be able to break down his walls, and see Hayden for who he truly is behind is arrogant clown façade? PG 13 for language and innuendoes. *My characters haven't got brain to mouth filters; therefore if you don't like foul language etc. please don't complain and ask me to change them... because that is how they are, they were brought up like that, so I won't change their speaking habits. So I've put this warning here, to inform those of a nervous disposition ;)*
