This was inspired by my favorite line in New Moon, when the Cullens greet Edward, Bella, and Alice at the airport.
"Neither Alice nor Edward was surprised by the reception that waited for us at the Sea-Tac airport, but it caught me off guard. Jasper was the first one I saw-he didn't seem to see me at all. His eyes were only for Alice. She went quickly to his side; they didn't embrace like other couples meeting there. They only stared into each others faces, yet, somehow, the moment was so private that I still felt the need to look away. (Bella Swan, New Moon, page 495)
It was sooo sweet, so...here is a slightly more in depth look into Jasper's thoughts in that moment. Enjoy!
If you're reading this now, I'll assume you've already read my sister's books. She was, after all, the more popular Swan daughter. It had always been that way. If my assumptions are correct, you're probably wondering who I am. Afterall, Bella Swan had not once mentioned me in the story of her life. I wasn't the only thing she left out either. She told the story of a life she wanted to have, not the life she actually had. In her story, I was never born, Edward came back, and they lived happily ever after. I'm here to tell you the real story.
