This was inspired by my favorite line in New Moon, when the Cullens greet Edward, Bella, and Alice at the airport.

"Neither Alice nor Edward was surprised by the reception that waited for us at the Sea-Tac airport, but it caught me off guard. Jasper was the first one I saw-he didn't seem to see me at all. His eyes were only for Alice. She went quickly to his side; they didn't embrace like other couples meeting there. They only stared into each others faces, yet, somehow, the moment was so private that I still felt the need to look away. (Bella Swan, New Moon, page 495)

It was sooo sweet, so...here is a slightly more in depth look into Jasper's thoughts in that moment. Enjoy!

*******COMPLETE******* "Wow, you really are a little monster, aren't you?" His deep voice tilted the words into a thick Southern accent. A familiar feeling tugged over me while I turned towards him and looked up. Far up because he was so tall. Golden eyes met mine. My stomach dropped for only a second and then it suddenly felt like everything in the world would be okay. My eyes fell on his lips after his eyes almost immediately. He will kiss me a lot. The thought came without warning, but it spoke the truth the same way all of my feelings did. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jasper Hale has drifted for a long time, so long that he is close to leaving the Cullen clan. A powerful empath, the forced path of vampirism has nearly destroyed him. And no matter how hard he fights it, it always draws him back. But then he meets Mary Alice and Bella, and suddenly his struggle takes on new meaning. Mary Alice Swan gets feelings that often come true. When she moves to Forks with her sister Bella, those feelings begin to escalate into something ... more. As if that weren't enough, she thinks that the infamous Cullens might be even weirder than either Bella or herself. Which is saying a lot. Heavy plot twisting, Jalice heavy plot, shameless Bella/Leah ship! Disclaimer: Universe, some plot details that are used, and characters belong solely to Stephenie Meyer! It all Started With A Letter (Bella X Jasper)

50 parts Complete

I stared down at the letter in my hand. There was something so familiar about it. Yet it was different. Mysterious. Alluring. Almost Irresistible. *** After Edward leaves Bella in the woods, she is heartbroken. She is in a constant state of intense depression. That is until a letter arrived in the mail. A letter from the person she had least expected. Jasper x Bella (I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but Jasper is my favorite. He's adorable and I love him. We're just gonna do our best to ignore the fact that he fought on the Confederate side, and pretend that he has grown from the experience and is no longer racist. Now he supports the BLM movement and is deeply ashamed of his past. Yay! Character growth!) I have altered some of the characters to fit the story. Some of their actions in this book would never happen in the actual saga. Our perfect southern gentleman would never hurt Alice, we all know that ;) Warning: Lots of fluff. The timeline is a little messed up, but the events are fairly similar to the book New Moon. If this bothers you too much don't read. I hope you enjoy the book.
