If you hit rock bottom you might as well hit it at the beautiful coastline of Monaco. At least, that's what Norah thought before she fled from the UK. However, when Norah attempts to brighten up her life just a little by ajusting a tiny change in her daily routine, she soon finds herself failing epically at pretty much everything she does. Mia Ricciardo, the younger sister of f1 all-star Daniel Ricciardo, secured a surprise job managing the f1 YouTube channel, when her own videos began to get a fast following. She didn't tell her brother until last minute, and for good reason. Daniel worries for Mia's trusting heart in the hands of one of the boys, knowing that they could crush it with their bare fingers. But his warnings cannot keep her from doing her job, and ultimately learning more and more about each racer in each team. Charles Leclerc has the looks, he has the humour, he has the pick-up lines, but does he have exactly what it takes to win Mia over and keep her close for the rest of the season? He said, opening the passenger side door for me and walking around to his own. 'I'm 24 years old, Daniel, I'm not a child anymore.' I said, softly. 'You're still my baby sister, and f1 drivers are arseholes.' He muttered. 'I know, I'm related to one.' He nudged me, starting the engine and putting on his seatbelt, looking over at me silently, giving me the parent look he did all too often nowadays. 'You're there to do your job. Please, just do your job. I'd hate to go all mean on someone.' 'You can't be mean.' I chuckled. 'If anyone was to hurt you, you bet I would.' I know she will never let that go, and weirdly it brings me joy because that means that she will never forget the day we met. And I don't want her to forget it because it is forged forever in my mind. I am bound by that day, but if I am bound, she should be too. I want us to be bound forever by that day. "Maybe. Depends if you will text me this time." "Then maybe." With a grin on my face, I reply, "Maybe is good enough for now." A lie. Truly, maybe is not enough, but I will wait for her forever if it is necessary. I barely know her, but I want her to like me at least a portion of how much I like her because her mere presence makes me happy, and I believe I have the same effect on her. ------------------------------- Two pressured souls to succeed, longing for love.
