Following the events of Sonic Adv. 2 and the destruction of ARK, Shadow secludes himself on Angel Island so that he can gather his thoughts. Or so he thinks. His peace is quickly shattered by the arrival of Amy and before he knows it, Shadow is pulled into one of Eggman's schemes. Now he and the Freedom Fighters are in a race against time to save the island, and one of their closest friends.
