A note. That's all he had a note. He would have dismissed it if he didn't know about her. He should have let it go; if he was a stronger person he would have left the girl with the flowers alone.

Her life might have been wasting her potential, and the plainness made the girl crazy. But he knew she was safe and that should have been enough.

Charlotte Olivia Grace Garcia. She wasn't sure why her mother felt the need to make her name such a mouthful. She wasn't sure on a lot of things: what she was going to do, why everything was so lonely, and her sanity.

She had excepted the craziness as part of her personality. Not only was Charlotte perceptive she was also smart; the number of things she had hidden didn't matter.

Her life was a panel of secrets layered in mysteries. She chided herself for all opinions.
