"You may be a seventh daughter," he smirked, walking around me, "but you can't win against the power of a seventh son." Sirena Argent is one of the most powerful of the Silverbark Circle, the most powerful coven in all of Aelburn. Sirena is a seventh daughter of a seventh daughter, meaning she has the power to reign over Aelburn with her magic ever since the murder of her older sister. However, no ruler of Aelburn was ever part of a coven and her subjects are starting to doubt her. They doubt her even more when a seventh son of a seventh son comes to Aelburn saying that he will take over. What will happen to Aelburn? And are the rumours about the seventh son true?

For decades, Aelin Ashryver Galathynius and Rowan Whitethorn have ruled the Kingdom of Doranelle, passing the governance of Terrasen to her cousin, Aedion, and his descendants. Since her defeat of Queen Maeve more than 100 years ago, Aelin has lived in relative peace, until nightmare-like prophecies of an unknown threat begin to plague her dreams. Feyre and Rhysand defeated the King of Hybern several years ago. Prythian has thrived under the semi-cooperative leadership of the seven High Lords (and one High Lady), but a dark force has been gathering to the West, and as events transpire, it becomes more and more clear that a long lost prophecy must be fulfilled before Prythian can finally be at peace once more. Aidan Meara Ashryver Havilliard has been groomed since childhood to inherit the throne of Adarlan, but at the age of sixteen, she is both sickly and frail, wasting away from an illness that no healer in Erilea has been able to diagnose. When an aunt, long thought dead, resurfaces with information that offers an answer to the disease as well as information about threats to the South, Aidan must make a decision that could affect not only Adarlan or even Erilea but two entirely different worlds.
