A new intern arrives at the Jeffersonian. She is smart, gorgeous and kind. Addison Martinez is also a puzzle. A puzzle that confounds all. But whatever she may be, is she really an Innocent Intern? Set in a world where Dr Brennan got another intern to work alongside Zack in season 1. Chapters will mainly be based off episodes and things occurring around the time of the episode. Also set in a universe where Cam worked at the Jeffersonian since season 1 and Goodman was never a character Basically I'm terrible at writing summaries so I'm sorry and also my first bones fanfiction. I unfortunately don't own Bones

For brilliant forensic anthropologist Dr Lilly Prior, the dead are preferable company. Her sterile lab is a sanctuary where the only language spoken is the quiet, logical truth of bone. But when the aggressively charming FBI Agent Jake Booth summons her to a bizarre crime scene-a skeleton posed at a macabre mannequin dinner party-her carefully controlled world is shattered. This is no ordinary killer. He calls himself The Watcher, an artist who leaves behind pristine white feathers and cryptic symbols carved directly into his victims. He's a ghost who can walk through secured perimeters, and his terrifying, personal messages make one thing clear: this elaborate, deadly performance is all for Lilly. Forced into an uneasy alliance with the infuriatingly handsome Agent Booth, Lilly must decipher The Watcher's horrifying riddles while navigating a threat she can't analyse: her own undeniable connection to the one man who might breach her defences for good. As the killer's obsession escalates, Lilly becomes the central piece in a terrifying game where losing is not an option.
