This is officially the sequel to Yuri!!! On Ice Book 1, but you don't have to had read that one to understand this one. This book carries an Otayuri-based plot and holds no carry-over from the first-- at least, nothing a reader wouldn't be able to understand. Taking place in 2017, this book follows the pair through several years of their lives, encountering obstacles and growing closer all the while. When Polaris considers traveling down to Earth just to become a human and be with her, he sneaks away from Ursa Minor and descends to Earth. Back on Earth, Ashtynn is a bit a klutz. She acted like every other stereotypical anime girl. Ashtynn was judged a lot for this, causing her to have little to no friends in middle school. When high school came around, she changed her appearance and personality. Ashtynn basically became a delinquent--she got into fights, skipped classes, and trashed school property. Everything was going "well" until her real identity was uncovered and her life went back to the way it was before...until the star boy suddenly transfers to her school.
