Two fifteen year olds begin the school in Athens high school in Texas, both were different to the rest. One of them, Juliet. She had a disability and did not have a leg. While the other young man, Byron, had blood cancer. Their bond of friendship they manage to have was unreachable and so huge. No matter what the two went through, they never separated.
This book is told by the point of view of Juliet.
