"What reason do I have to lie?" He looked up at me with squinted eyes. "Hmm, Maybe because YOU KIDNAPPED ME?" I yelled at him, throwing whatever was closest to me, which happened to be the plate I had just eaten off of. The plate missed his head but hit the wall behind him with a thump, it shattered to pieces onto the couch, food splattering all over. His eyes glazed over with anger. "Did you just throw that at my head?" He asked in a scary calm tone. I gulped, "Maybe if you weren't such an asshole I wouldn't have." I spoke, my voice shaking as much as my body was. "I'm not an asshole!" He yelled at me as he stood to his feet, and in two long strides made his way over to me. He grabbed me by the arms and pushed his face inches away from mine. Wanting to push his buttons, I did the only thing I could think of. "Only an asshole would say that." I told him, my voice low. I was mad and I wanted to see what he would do. He held my arms down. I laughed in his face, "What are you gonna do? Hit me?" I pushed, I wanted to prove a point, I wanted to show him how much of a monster he truly is. He released his grip, "No. No I'm not." He stood up and walked towards the door, running his hands through his hair. I was surprised, but decided to push further, to see how far I could actually push him. "Why not? You've done it before." I pointed out, my confidence growing now that he didn't hit me for that. He leaned on the door frame, his back to me. "Because I can't do it!" He yelled, turning around to face me. He strode towards me, anger fuming off of him. I cowarded away from him, scared he was going to hit me again. But, I wanted him to, just to make a point, but he did something that surprised me a lot more. He kissed me. *** April Hastings, a seemingly normal girl is abducted by her handsome boss. Under The Bed
As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. No joys, minimal suffering, because there's only so much a heart can take before it calls it quits. And honestly? Fuck it, I'd been through enough. ... But he changed everything. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him?
