When people think of heros or adventurers, they last thing they would expect are adventures kobold alchemist Jamada, and serpentfolk brothers Rattle & Venom. They enjoy the adventuring life, though their monstrous appearance can make life tough for them when going to civilized places, their hearts are in the right place and tend to help those in need. Not only must Jet and his team evade the Angels and Zombies, but a legendary team of Angels, Angel Six, are sent to eliminate them. Many challenges will be faced as each person is put through the ultimate test of survival. Who will win? Who will lose? Who will die?

After an explosion at a medical lab downtown a group of teenagers set out to find missing loved ones. While heading to the hospital they run into a girl, who's being chased by two men who seem to be desperate to take a bite out of her. While saving her they notice one of the men is missing part of his face. Will they be able to make it to safety, or will they become one of the dead. Throw on top of it that one of them seems to be getting visions of the future and they learn a startling piece of information about how the dead have come back to life.

The earth is almost completely desolate, as people trick and murder each other to get what they want. The only thing left that gives a semblance of dreams is: a power that gives control over earth to anyone who touches the item. People form teams to attempt finding the thing, to destroy all life they see as unnecessary, they further trick and murder each other to get what they want, including the thing... The search for destruction destroys everyone who reaches to the power.
