A long time ago, a blinding light enveloped the whole Earth one moment, the next it shattered into countless fragments, continents, and bays. This new world has been given a new name: SkyEarth. Shaun Ingary dreams of flight and adventure. In his peaceful hometown of Easthaven, it's quite understandable to have a desire to see the world and not read about it in books. So he and his best friend Oliver decided to restore his father's old warplane and give it a test flight. But it isn't long till his life is changed forever by his ancestor's journal and incendiary bombs. In this debut novel, follow Shaun as he copes with his new life in the Walled City. There he will meet valuable friends and allies, uncover the secrets hidden in the journal's codes and the city's walls, encounter dangerous enemies, and awaken a mysterious power that had been sleeping for hundreds of years. All of this, Shaun must succeed. If he fails, then the whole of SkyEarth will be lost. Author's Note: the reason why there's "Reborn" in the title is because the flash drive containing the edited drafts of two whole SkyEarth books broke without warning, thus years of writing and editing gone in an instant. It devastated me, hit me on my very marrow. I even considered giving up, but I didn't. I pulled myself together and wrote again (well, mostly edited and changed some stuff from the unedited firat drafts, but you get the idea.) And once I've finished and satisfied with the work, I'm gonna work on physically publishing it, immediately. That's why, from now on, all three books in the trilogy will include "Reborn" in the title; a rebirth of my storytelling spirit.
