Fire is a 13 year old boy who has pyrokinesis. He also has the ability to turn into a flaming skeleton. Because of this he is called a monster, a freak, and "The Devil's Spawn" . Feeling hated and unloved he runs away from home. While on the run he meets a group of people just like him. When mysterious monsters attack Earth it's up to Fire and his friends to save it. Will the save the world, or will they destroy it?

I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!Complete
