Kurt Wagner is a normal teenage boy, or at least normal for a circus acrobat. He loves to run, joke with his sister, Amanda, and read. He's a devout Catholic. There's just one tiny detail missing: he's blue. When his demonic looks get him in trouble, he ends up meeting Elizabeth, the broken girl with wings. She no longer believes in God, and if he's real, he doesn't love her. The worst possible circumstances turn them into unlikely friends, but as they grow closer, will their friendship become something more? 

This is a story about Nightcrawler's past, including how he met the Xmen. I wanted to combine the movies and a few details from the comics, with, of course, a few of my own scenarios and relationships sprinkled in.

But as anyone who knows the X-Men could tell you, once the "happy endings" start coming up, there's no way the bad guys aren't going to try to mess that up. A fabulous continuation of the newly minted 714 Universe where we give our favorite characters the opportunity to be happy then sit back and see what they do with it! Volume 1 ("A Wolverine, An Elf, and a Hawkeye") is over on CanuckleheadCowgirl's profile. In this volume, Kate Bishop has moved into the school with her boyfriend, Kurt Wagner. And while this means awesome things like sleepovers with Storm and parties with her new friend Jubilee, it also means all sorts of issues that she's never dealt with. Anti-mutant rhetoric, Sentinels, angry mobs, and even demonic issues ... the Avengers never had to deal with anything like this. Unlike his peers, Kurt's obvious physical mutation was something he was both praised and tormented for. His past is riddled with suffering, but what happens when events force him to reveal himself and tell his story to his friends in order for them to help him heal. Do they understand what it really means to be considered a monster? (I really enjoyed the show Xmen Evolution, but I think there was a missed opportunity for them to delve into Nightcrawler's backstory. This is a slightly darker tone than the show, but how I would go about his origin. Most of the characters are therefore based on this show or if you want to talk generally, Marvel) I'm a novice writer and this is my first story/fanfic I'm releasing so I hope you enjoy and don't mind commenting on my writing if that's what you want to do The cover image is my original artwork, so yeah that to :) (more art on my instagram if you like it and care enough to do so @nitch17sketch)
