I am a Vampire

To be more precise, I am infected with VTB-01 virus. VTB-01 has been passed on from generation to generation... cause unknown. There is no known cure.

This virus activates Telomerase to affect the human aging process. In effect, it allows the infectee to live 300 times longer with supernatural powers.

If an adult is infected, their aging stops immediately. Whereas if an adolescent is infected, their aging stops after 5 or 6 years. And that comes their physical state permanently.

An infected individual possesses physical capabilities that go far beyond that of a human being. And they have the ability to self-heal.

But, the sunlight during the dawn and intense natural light can be fatal. And they suffer a thirst for blood that is torturous.

I am not a human being.

I am something else entirely... existing between the living and the dead.
