*THE ORIGINAL EMMALINE - BUT WATTPAD TOOK IT DOWN * Emmaline Black is no stranger to abuse, or to torture of any kind from her loving mother, and the men she is often sold to, despite how rich her mother is. Despite everything she's been through, it's a miracle she's alive. Through it all, Emmaline's learned to conceal her feelings, to repress them, to repress her memories, so she won't get caught up in it. All her life, she has built walls, to protect her heart. But one day, her mother dies, and she finds out she has older brothers, four older brothers. Only one of them likes her, while two of them hate her, and she can't doesn't know about her oldest brother. A life with her older brothers brings so many unexpected changes. Not used to having people care for her, people tolerating her existence, Emmaline's determined to keep a lid on her past, and not have everything known. But it's kind of hard when her past seems to catch up with her, and connect with her present. Also, there's something up with her brothers. She just knows. They think she doesn't know. But she does. But despite that, there's something about her brothers that makes her warm up to them slightly.
