An Unwanted Truth

After Lucy gets seriously injured while protecting Gray, Lucy feels ashamed and useless. Even with everyone telling her it wasn't her fault, she knew. She was a burden, the weakest in her group. She wanted the strength to protect everyone in Fairy Tail.
And with this all going on, Lucy keeps feeling a strange pull towards the east, where there is nothing but the sea. Moreover, her dreams are plagued with an urgent call for help that apparently only she can provide. On top of this, her father has just past away, leaving behind a terrible burden and a family secret.
Leaving the guild under the cover of training, she sets off to find answers to questions, and to help the person calling out to her in her dreams.
When Natsu discovers of Lucy's disappearance, and why shes gone, he is beyond angry. He could have gone with her! Helped her, and protected her even. With the master forbidding a search, he has to sit back and await her return. That doesn't stop him from asking the people he meets on his missions if they've seen her.
