This is about us.
How easily affective we are by our society, how easily blinded we get when we see older pretty women with their lives together.
We want to learn the tips and tricks of how they do it and quick.
It's just how we are.
But younger girls of our generation are trying to find them selves and when they see women on the internet with their shit together, all they want to know is how.
They want to be the same.
And that's where we went wrong with our generation.
We just turned technology against us.

A Weight off My Mind - Time to Live
Regardless of size, putting your life on hold until you reach that perfect weight, does no one any good. This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change this. We shouldn't be allowing it to determine whether we should be happy, successful or loved. Enough is enough. Start living. You deserve it all now. He was her stalker. But not the kind that lurked in the shadows with sinister intent. No, he was simply a man in love-too afraid to step forward, too hesitant to risk rejection. A silent observer, hopelessly drawn to the woman who had unknowingly become his entire world. To everyone else, he was intimidating. A towering figure wrapped in ink and muscle, exuding an unapproachable presence that made people steer clear. They never looked deeper. Never saw the quiet soul beneath the hardened exterior. Judgments were made the moment he entered a room, long before he even had the chance to speak. But she was different. She saw him. And more importantly-she liked being seen by him. If he thought he was going unnoticed, he was sorely mistaken. He wasn't a very good stalker-not by a long shot. She recognised his face, the way he lingered just far enough away to watch but never close enough to act. His clumsy attempts at remaining unseen were anything but stealthy, and truth be told, she found them utterly endearing. He wasn't frightening. He wasn't menacing. He was just a man, staring at her from the edges of his own fear, caught between longing and hesitation. But she wasn't going to make it easy for him. She wanted him to make the first move. She wanted him to prove to himself that he was brave enough to stand before her, to reach for what he so clearly desired. So, with a knowing glint in her eyes, she played along-her actions deliberate, her teasing methodical. She became a puzzle for him to solve, a challenge he couldn't ignore. And with each passing day, she felt the tension coil tighter between them, the invisible string drawing them closer. And really, if he ever wanted to harm her-which was laughable-he wouldn't stand a chance. One held his dark, haunting past that made his nonexistent tears fall. His scars made him frown, made his lips tremble, made his mouth form into a terrifying scowl. She just wanted to make it through university, graduate and have a career. If she meets a guy, fine. If not, fine. She wasn't concerned. No one had every made her feel interested. He watched her. From a distance. It was forbidden to reveal himself to her. Humans didn't do well when they learned that they were not the only species out there. She was unspoiled by the world around her. Unbelievably so. Innocent in a way that he had not seen in centuries. She was pure and light. To have her as his was his one desire. Yet, they were worlds apart.
