Sauda, pronounced Sah-Ooda-Dah, just moved from North Carolina all the way to Houston Texas. Sauda was only 5 at the time but she was smart enough to know that they moved because of 3 things, Her grandpa was really sick, Her dad wanted to be closer to the family, and They wanted to find better paying jobs to support their​ family.

Two days later, Sauda started her first day of kindergarten. 

"You be a good girl, don't act up and don't disrespect any of your classmates nor teacher, y'hear?" Her dad said. She nods.

When he leaves the teacher reached out her hand. "You ready​ to start you're first day?!" she said with a smile. Sauda nodded and took the woman's hand.

They walked in and everyone stopped what they was doing, and stared, not looked, at sauda.

"Class this is Sauda, be nice and introduce yourself." the teacher said. Instead they get.

"Why are you so black?!"
