I've never seen the concept of Tomatoredd having to grow up like anyone else, so I thought why not? He has to deal with the separate minds of Edd, Tom, Matt, and Tord. Bing is his "father" and Larry's vice parent. Yes, vice parents are totally a thing now, shushu.

Tom meets a boy named Tord and they become friends. Soon after Tord has to leave the island but not before his father, Paul, kills Tom's mother. A few weeks Tom meets another boy whose name is Edd. Both Tom and Edd flee to another island and meet yet another boy, Matt. A few more weeks go by and they're taken to a foreign monster hunting facility. There Tom meets Tord once more. The four go to an orphanage.
