Set in the American 50's, Clarke Griffin transfers to Polis High School in Boston, Massachusetts. She works hard in school and does everything she can to get straight A's and remain focused. Even the greasers who call themselves Trikru and their witty leader (who is also Clarke's biology partner) can't distract her.

Lexa Woods is the only female greaser leader at Polis High in a gang that is absolutely obsessed with cars, girls, booze, cigarettes, and drive in theaters. School was only something that inconvenienced her.
Until she met Clarke.
