Biljan James is not a "normal" boy. He's always expressed his Queerness openly, through the way he dresses and speaks. Biljan is bullied, picked on and worn down until he barely has anything in him. And then... an unlikely ally emerges, in the form of the school's juvenile delinquent, André. In and out of jail, covered in tattoos, hair locked with cornrows, André has long been a beautiful mystery. But when he sticks up for Biljan, everything changes. Can Andrè show Biljan how to love not only himself, but others? And can Biljan show Andrè what his true self looks like?

Demitri "Demi" Lattimore has had an eventful summer. He got his first job at the mall, his parents bought him his dream car, and he lost his virginity to his longtime crush. However, as he enjoys his senior year of high school, Demi finds himself learning just how unpredictable life can be. While some of the obstacles he faces are typical for a black gay teen in the American South, others will cause him to question who he is and more importantly; what he wants out of life. With many situations already pulling him in multiple directions, he unexpectedly begins a complicated tryst with a conflicted but popular football player. This tryst will prove to be the center of everything that goes both right and wrong in his young life. Will Demi be able to find his way through it all or will it engulf him entirely? © 2016 All Rights Reserved
