"To me, Naomi is the song in my heart, it beats for her and only her. But this is unrequited, she doesn't even know I exist. Well, maybe she does, but if she did, she would know me as the loser. I never do anything right, never have, never will. I guess that's just life and I have to deal with it. Not to mention that every single guy in our school is more good looking than me." (Excerpt from Chapter 1 - The Song in My Heart) Hayden Makay is just an ordinary boy who plays piano, but to him, Naomi Howes is no ordinary girl - she's the song in his heart. Emotions stir, hearts are broken, but most importantly, bonds form. This is a story of loss, love, and triumph between two teenage musicians who have only one thing in common, music. Feel like your living in the story! Photos and music from the book are included in each chapter!
