They were promptly cast down to earth. The Elder's conferred with the Lord, and all came to the agreement that they no longer had the purity of heart to belong in Heaven any longer. Stripping them of their powers and practical immortality, the Lord cast them out the gates and struck them to earth, where they could see the horrors of war they so desired. Their wings turned black as they fell and became earth bound, unable to fly again. They crashed in an open field, far outside the city, creating large craters from the impact of speed. As they lay, unconscious and bleeding, the last bit of God-like resistance and healing genes faded from them, leaving them good as human, except for the large black wings that they could bring out at will.
