As a former abused child, Leanna Brice, known as Lee, has found comfort in studying crime. Now 21 years old, Lee has a scholarship in criminology and law enforcement. But, an enemy from her past has showed itself. With her father behind bars, Lee thought her troubles were over. But they aren't. To stay safe and achieve her dreams, Lee has joined forces with the famous C.I Neal Caffrey and the famous F.B.I agents Diana Ross, Dave Jones, and Peter Burke. But what will happen when her path veers slightly off course, and she falls in love with Caffrey against her better judgement?
