Samantha Craig a junior at Greenwood High is in the middle of a rough patch at home and school ever since her mother died. Everyone's changed and when everything gets too overwhelming she goes to a spot in the forest behind her house.  One day on her way to the one oak tree overlooking the lake she had saw someone already there, a boy. But he too was going through a rough time, for Samantha wasn't the only one with problems. Since then they had always met up at that one tree and were inseparable ever since.
