"This is why I'm here" once he said that, he grabbed my arm and crossed his fingers and put his thumb in the palm of his right hand. At first nothing happened, but when the stranger took the cup of water, and poured it, it came out very slowly. Almost not at all. My eyes widened as the water was frozen in time. The man let go of my arm to let me walk around. Once I did, it felt like time...moved with me. I looked out the window and saw taxi cabs and busses frozen in place, but when I moved, they moved with me. I turn to the stranger, absolutely mesmerized. "Who are you?" I said, completely amazed by his ability. "My name is Jack Burns, I'm part of the S.T.O. That stands for: Secret Teleporter Organization. I'm a Teleporter, and so are you" [HUGE thanks to @mariness_the_mermaid for making the cover for the book! I woke up in a metal cell, wearing some kind of black jumpsuit and bulletproof vest. It was strange that I knew the room was metal, or it was a cell, when I couldn't remember my own name. Or where I came from or what I was doing here. The room was tiny. My feet touched the door when I lied down. I stood up and pushed the door. Solid. Locked. It wasn't meant to be opened. I stepped back and analysed the situation. One - if it was not meant to be opened, it had to be opened. Two - I didn't know what was outside. Three - I didn't want to be locked up. The third reason outweighed all the others. Instantly, I knew what to do.
