A Grim Feeling

"You are dead." The creature blankly stated, moving around hidden in the dark shadows of the tall trees.

I laughed, shaking my head." You've got to be joking! Then how the hell am I breathing and moving?"

"That will only be temporarily. If you want to contuine to live, you have to do me a small favor."

I quirked my eyebrow at that wording." A Favor? Of what kind?"

The hidden creature stepped out of the darkness showing it's grotesque rotten face and dark shrouds of clothing around it. The creature had a hood draped over it's head, but there was a few patches of holes within the creature's hood and you could see the wisps of grey unkempt hair.

"I'll need you to take souls for me, and become a Grim Reaper for a time being. Only after you acquire enough souls shall you be released and able to return to your friends and family." The grim looking creature said with a sinister grin, before adding." See, it's only a small favor."

Efi Dashwood was always such an adventurous gal, wanting to live life to the fullest and explore every little crack in the Earth. Efi and her best friend, Trinity, decide to try and go explore the infamous Suicide Forest which rests at the Northwestern flank of Japan's Mount Fuji. Encountering a bad situation, she wakes seeing a creature of darkness looming in front of her. Will she take the favor to save her life and return to her family and friends? Or will she choose to stay dead and never awaken again?
