This story is a Modern AU and it's set in high school. Kid being the 'bad boy' of the class and Marco being your art teacher. This is sort of an experiment, I was requested to do an Xreader about one of these characters and I also got a request to do a story about a cheater. SO; I've done a mixture of the two.
Hope y'all enjoy! It's also going to rated mature so be wary.

He'd be worth a lot if people found out what he was. Since he wants to fit in he has to come up with a reason why he has powers. When he learned about Devil Fruits and their powers, he came up with the excuse that he ate a devil fruit, the Tori Tori no Mi: model Phoenix. Though as he learned more about these devil fruits he had to pretend that he couldn't swim and seastone affected him when it was created not long after the fruits were made. He is a Phoenix. A creature no one needs to know is actually real. But when a certain freckled beauty showed up claiming to take his father's head, it was hard to keep his animalistic side of him in check. I had a dream about this and I've literally just woken up but I absolutely must write about this dream, I was honestly thinking about giving up with writing cause sometimes I get a few rude comments...then I get rude cause don't you sass me you little turd but then I look mean when I retaliate. BUT ANYWAYS, this dream was at the very end and it was beautiful and the part I had been dying for was coming up, the two characters at the end kissing but just as it WAS HAPPENING, I woke up. Can you bloody believe it? So, I'm writing it now and the happy ending WILL happen. I also don't know where this is going...I hadn't thought on how to convert it into One Piece characters, I was too impatient. SO, I'm winging it. I know, I'm terrible huehue.
