What do you do when you suddenly find yourself in a world between life and death? A misty limbo for those with unfinished buisness.
Kassie wasn't religious, she scoffed at ghosts and reincarnation, until she finds herself in their world. A duplicate of our universe, but covered in a light haze, and filled with the ghosts of people's last moments. For someone who's never had too many responsibilities, finding out she must help the ghosts in Afterwhere "move on" along with a band of other people, stuck, like her, is a crippling shock from reality.

Whispers of the Crimson Shadow
Ever wondered what hides in the shadows of the quietest minds? In a small, unsuspecting town, people start disappearing-first one, then another. At first, it seems random, but every victim has something in common. Each carries a secret so dark, it could ruin their lives... if they were still alive. Meet Eren. The charming barista who remembers your favorite coffee order. The polite neighbor who waters your plants when you're away. The guy everyone trusts. But behind his warm smile is a mind that thrives on chaos and blood-a predator hiding in plain sight. As Detective Mira Lane digs deeper into the cases, her gut tells her there's more to these murders than meets the eye. But how do you catch a killer who knows how to blend in so perfectly? Someone who could be the person you'd least suspect? Dark, twisted, and chillingly personal, "Whispers of the Crimson Shadow" will make you question the faces you trust and the secrets you keep. Never
Life hasn't been simple for Lois in a long time - little did she know she was born complicated - her whole family were. Sometimes things happen for a reason, I mean if she didn't have Jessie inside of her (a reincarnated ghost) she'd probably never meet her soul mate Aiden or be able to help out Cameron the ruler of the dark part to the Afterlife; then again neither he or Aiden are the true rulers no that title belongs to someone else. The true leader manipulated Cameron, so now he basically has an army of ghosts willing, to destroy Earth and the whole of Afterlife so he can reshape it to his liking. As usual those who can see the dead seem to get sucked into the havoc, Lois and her friends are about to embark on a journey to save Earth, the Afterlife and possibly free Cameron...who knows you'll have to read it to find out. Oh and add soul mates into the mix and family - lovely recipe this. *Images used in the cover belong to their rightful owners, no copyright infringement intended*Completa
