For sixteen years of Aurora's life things have been pretty good, until tragedy strikes her family and secrets start to unravel. Aurora finds that her family has spun a web of lies about her past, and worse still, her future may not even be her's to decide. 
One fateful encounter triggers a series of events that spiral Aurora on a journey to discover who she is and who she's meant to be. 
An age old prophecy foretelling a war between those known as Shifters and those known as Nightwalkers  has dragged Aurora into the middle of a mess she'll be lucky to make it out of.  As if being a teenager wasn't hard already.
