You may say I was abandoned. I was not. Four years ago when I was walking home from the convenience store, I saw my parents be dragged away into a dark alleyway. I was in that alleyway for what felt like forever. I was alone, tired, and scared. I had no one to go to. My grandparents were too far away. My oldest brother, Torren, left my family when I was born.
