"SPINE" is one of my first short stories I have written. It is about a young, high school couple that have been intertwined by fate and held by destiny. They must overcome a challenge that we are all too familiar with: cancer. As one of the main characters struggles to fight leukemia, his best friend and soulmate breathes life into him to see through the darkest days.
