Emily's a girl who's living in a sad and lonely world. Her dad abuses her, her mom is dead, and she has no friends. When she is saved by the Purple Dragons by a certain group of turtles, Her life changes for the better. she also might have captured the attention of a certain blue-clad turtle. Will her hero in blue save her from her sad and lonely world? read on to find out.
A/N: Hey everybody, I decided that since I love TMNT so much, i'd write a story for each turtle. this is obviously Leo's story. next will be Donnie, then Raph, and last but DEFINITELY not least will be mikey's story. Enjoy!

April O'Neil: So, you wrote a book... Me: A long-ass book. April: A long-ass book! How did it come about? Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! But I needed a new kick and I wanted something epic, dramatic that involved the mystical powers of the turtles and their further developments. April: And then you started writing yourself? Me: The story came about on its own. In my head. And at some point I just had to write it down, otherwise I would have exploded. With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. I know that the "y/n" comes out of an inclusive thought, and I think that's good and right. Unfortunately it blocked me, the heroine in my story was too complex and too concrete, and so I gave it up, even if it was no longer a real xreader story. April: And now you're writing a second book? While recovering, I learned about Leo, his family, the Kraang, and the Foot Clan. I grew close to him-and terrified of his constant need to play hero. Every mission felt like another chance he wouldn't come back. But while I worried about him, something began happening to me: the voices, the visions, the emotions I didn't understand, especially when it came to that blue-masked turtle.
