Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

I've been given many names over my years of living. Most dominantly 'freak' or 'abomination', either one works I suppose. But what do you call someone that cannot die? Someone who moves faster than a speeding bullet or who happens to be stronger than anything else on the planet? 'Freak' sounds very justified now, doesn't it? My name is Alexis, though my last name differs everywhere I decide to travel. Currently, I'm in New York and my last name is Williams, very common and wouldn't arouse suspicion. I've been hunted for more than five centuries but those hunters could never really hurt me. Not in the way they wanted to. They've killed my family, my friends, anybody I decide to let near me. They were experienced assassins. So I ran. I didn't allow anyone near me, I kept to myself. But I ran. I've been to just about every inch of the world and still couldn't find a place to settle down. Until I met her. Mia Sanchez. The girl was a walking chew toy for the hunters, but she was persistent and located my soft spot. She was immortal in her own aspect, but nowhere near invincible when thinking of the skills the hunters harbour. So I'm stuck protecting her and those around her, all the while hoping that the hunter don't somehow find a way to finally bring an end to me. You thought your life sucked? I'm Cody Daniels. Average fifteen year old guy; my life revolves around my mates, football and girls. I guess the only thing abnormal about me is that I'm a demon-angel hybrid who could start a demonic apocalypse and destroy the world as we know it. But I'm pretty normal other than that... My mum died in childbirth, so after my dad disappeared ("presumed dead"), I moved in with my Aunt Suzie, who I'd never met before. Then the weird shit started to happen. Understandably, being told that I was a half-angel, half-demon hybrid came as a bit of surprise to me. However, being told that as the aforementioned hybrid I was the only one who could unlock the gates to Hell, and therefore I was basically Scarlett Johansson to the demons (yeah, they all want me) came as even more of a shock. So, with every demon not in Hell after my booty, I'm going to track down my demonic dad, set the record straight and earn the respected title of 'Angel' in my new community... Psshht.
