Examples being the ability to shift into various or one specific animal be it real or of mythological origins or the need to consume blood or energy from other beings to live.

Meta- humans with evolutionary abilities due to latent para dna due to inter species relations.
Examples being increased brain capacity, enhanced abilities, and small physical attributes such as fangs or retractable claws.

We live in a age of freaks and geeks with technology galore. You would think that Paras would be worried about being found out, and most are, but they aren't as well hidden as they might think.
Sarah is a 25 year old with a keen knowledge that Paras exist. She just doesn't plan on telling anyone and hopes no one ever find out that she dose. Keeping her own abilities a secret was hard enough thank you very much. But she is getting feed up with all the lies she has to tell and honestly the lies she knows others are telling as well.
What happens when one to many lies get thrown her way and her abilities get out of hand? Will she unwillingly expose herself to those around her? Will someone come along and save her before its to late?

For twenty-eight years, werewolf, Still Waters's life was a carefully maintained house of cards. Born the daughter of an alpha, as a toddler, Still was taken away from Goose Creek, South Carolina, and raised as far away from werewolf society as her mother could get her. Still was taught to keep the truth of what she was from everyone: her friends, coworkers, other werewolves, and even those closest to her, the human members of her family. Accomplishing that task was no small feat, especially when she lived her life in front of a camera as the host of the movie review show, Reel Time. But when a freak accident claims the life of a loved one, the delicate façade that was Still's life comes crashing down around her. Not only is she forced to reveal the truth of what she is to the public, Still is now at the head of the line to assume the position of alpha of her birth pack...a pack whose members made it clear they didn't want the lone wolf to lead them. But with the chaos, there also comes a calming force in the form of Dee Stratton, Still's ex-girlfriend, the one that got away. Where Still was taught to hide, Dee was raised to embrace her status as a werewolf. The differences ultimately drove the two apart. But when Dee returns to offer Still support, in her time of loss, the two quickly fall back into their relationship. Their tiny bit of joy at rekindling their romance is short-lived, for providence had other plans for Still. Family secrets are revealed that will threaten the bonds of Still and Dee's relationship in a way that they've never been tested before. In the midst of her pain, Still must wage war to fight for the very things she once thought she could live without. Still will either rise to the occasion and become the alpha and mate that Dee believes she can be or walk away from her pack and her relationship. . .this time for good. **Coming to KU in January 2026** Sometimes fate brings you exactly what you need before you even realize it. *** Brigid Kelly has lost everything and no amount of spells or wishes stopped it. After her Gran fell ill and passed away, Brigid wasn't able to keep her grandmother's metaphysical shop going. With everything crashing down around her, Brigid buys a one-way ticket to the land of her ancestors, hoping to find solace in the old cabin where her Gran grew up. Ireland is everything she was always told it was and then some. As she sorts out the slowly declining house in the woods, she's thrust into the path of handsome Torin Boyle by circumstance. The walls she's built up around her heart are slowly chipped away as Torin reveals pieces of himself as well, opening not only his home but his heart too. Torin Boyle has spent the last thirty-odd years living in the North of Ireland, running through the rolling hills with his friends. As a pack of wolf Shifters in a country that has no natural wolves, Torin has learned to keep a tap on his inner emotions to protect those he loves. But his homeland is dying; small patches of forest turning brown and dry. When a witch appears on his family's land out of nowhere, he's concerned that the witch is to cause for what's been happening to the land. He never expected to feel pulled into her orbit so completely. Brigid's idyllic life comes to a halt when Torin's father falls ill, closely followed by other members of the Shifter's family. The land around them - the very land where Brigid's ancestors lived - is dying. If Brigid and Torin can't figure out how to fix it, she might not be the only one losing those she loves. **Trigger Warnings - mentions of hospitals and death/cancer; loosing loved ones**
