"11:11. Make a wish" "I wish to get better" "You believe in wishes, right?" "Yes. And miracles. And magic. And maybe even God. But the things you wish for are things you can, truly, only wish for. Miracles are things that are impossible, yet come true anyway, somehow. And magic works its course." "What about God then?" "They don't answer my prayers, but I maybe they still exist" "So God is a they?" "For now. Unless we're actually shown who God is. We can't just go assuming after all- it's disrespectful." "I've never met anyone so smart yet so stupid." "Thank you."

I thought I was normal. That's what I was always led to believe anyways. But then one day a portal opened up in my closet and someone yanked me onto the other side. Now I'm stuck in a different world where apparently magic exists and I'm one of the ten people who can use all forms of it. Crazy, right? A two weeks ago I was a depressed 14 year old kid from Texas. Now I'm a confused and depressed 14 year old from Texas that has magic abilities I can barley control. Funny how quickly things can go from "meh, my life kinda sucks" to "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!" in a matter of seconds. Now I have to end a freaking war. I only have one question really. What did I get myself into by being born???
