Like a plunger, fear pulls at your insides and sucks out your other feelings. Why must we fear?

Alex has given up. Her mom is dead, her dad is nowhere to be found and her step-dad is in hospital and has asked for her to be removed from under her care.
But when Alex meets a stranger who knows everything about her; her mom, her dad and all of their life secrets, she is forced to get to know this stranger.
As always; theres a problem. He hates her. The only way for her to know more is to get him to like her. This proves harder than it seems.
