Lance is a Soundcloud artist in college trying to get noticed. Keith is a mumble rapper who craves purpose in his life.
One fateful night, while on the verge of giving up, Keith was listening to his favorite Soundcloud tracks when a random track autoplays.
It sparks something within him that he wasn't aware was possible. The melodic beat. That beautiful soothing voice. The wonderful lyrics.
"The Tailor..." He snorts, what a silly name. But his music. Oh, his music. He can't get enough.
"Who is this angel?"

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story. Warning: Violence, mention of rape, mention of self-harm, boyxboy, sex.

Keith snapped forward, his eyes glowing a deep purple, "I told you to get the fuck out, I'm not show to entertain you, I'm not something to watch as they break into tears, I want you to get the fuck out". Keith's breath heaved with anger as he moved to leave. Lance silently screamed, hot steam clouded by his eyes, "Keith I'm sorry, I didn't mean to". Keith knocked him down, shoulders slamming into his face, "what did I do to deserve you" Lance looked up. "I'm sorry Keith, please". Keith grunted, eyes glowing eerily, anger screamed from his from. "Get out Lance, get out of my life". Facing toward Lance, looking him in the eyes, he kicked forward. Nailing Lance in the face, "Get out of my life Lance, and never come back". Lance nodded before running out to the door.

Lots of langst to come here, although it doesn't really hit in the first couple chapters. Trust me, the pain will come. Lance getting kidnapped is something I've always wanted to tinker with, so here we are. Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. Keith, Hunk, Pidge, Shiro, Coran, and Allura are worried. With Keith stressing himself out over the wellbeing of his kidnapped friend, and Pidge looking all over for said friend, the paladins of Voltron are not on their best.
