When Susan & Arabella's mother marries Lord Cinders, they find their new, perfect stepsister Ethel has some horrible flaws. The worst, she refuses to consider them family and forces them to do all the house work in her father's absence at sea. Assuring the girl's mother cannot say a word to her husband by devious tactics. But what happens when the tables turn, will the persecuted become the persecutors and live up to their names as the evil step family? This is a twist on the classic Cinderella story, written in a style not so far off The Brother's Grim. The plot to fool the Russian Royal Family had many casualties, none more so than the would-be Anastasia. Fleeing across the seas with her fate in her hands, this is story of Anna, a Sister of the Black House and Stepsister to the girl who would be Cinderella. Welcome to Good Tales For Bad Dreams, a short-fiction series of re-imagined fairy tales. Each story is set in a different time and place. Some will be familiar, others will not. So, strip bare your assumptions, open your mind and see these tales told like never before. *Note: This displaced character story shifts the traditional tale of Anastasia from the Russian Revolution to 1600s Europe.* *Warning: Mature themes. PG-13 sensuality. Not suitable for younger readers*
